NatCon Roundtable

January 20, 2009

The mission of National Consultation On Career Development and Workplace Learning [NATCON] is to showcase groundbreaking research, facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogue and generate original insights that will inform public policy and organizational practices across the full range of economic and social issues that affect career development and workforce learning decisions in Canada. The conference attracts over 500 leaders representing business, labour, practitioners and policy makers.

NatCon is the first national event to feature a Prelude presentation. This involved two roundtables, each ninety minutes. Both presentations attracted about a dozen event goers each. There was very strong interest from Professor Maureen Cocksedge at Dubai Women’s College in the UAE and from Adriano Magnifico, Career Training Director at Windsor Park Collegiate in Winnipeg.
