New Aboriginal Education Initiatives

Heliotrope was just informed that Prelude is going to be a key part of two innovative Aboriginal education initiatives spearheaded by our partner Classroom Connections. One initiative is regional and funded by EnCana. The other is national and is funded by HRDSC. Together they involve: the five First Nations of the Athabasca Tribal Council; Native Child and Family Services, Toronto; Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Manitoba; Social Planning Council of Winnipeg; Gold River B.C. and SD 84; and St Mary’s First Nation, New Brunswick.
