Chalkboard Drawing
April 18, 2011
In January 2011 a Prelude Pilot occurred at Bayview Secondary School in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Please see the related Case Study for more information. This pilot had a number of novel adaptations. For example in the final activity module, involving the entire class, the students created their allTag on a blackboard rather than on paper. Austin Ball filmed and edited the following video. It’s worth noting that chalkboard drawings are an integral part of Waldorf classrooms. Drawing with colored chalk on black slate is endlessly magical and ephemeral.
