Cultivating Empathy
October 20, 2011
These two video vignettes are from the award winning documentary Children Full of Life. They depict a very poignant example of how empathy is cultivated and modelled by homeroom teacher Toshiro Kanamori. This took place in a primary school in Kanazawa, northwest of Tokyo. Children Full of Life is directed by Noboru Kaetsu and produced by the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK).
