Jensen Beach High School

Jensen Beach High School serves over 1500 students. The Florida Department of Education named JBHS as one of the top-50 high schools in the state. It has also been named a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Model School. Florida has 70 school districts serving 16M students. A Social Skills Committee is planning to pilot Prelude later in the year with moderately at risk and learning challenged students. This will include several middle and high schools.

Description: Prelude was introduced to Grade 11 students in a new Peer Mentor Program piloted at Jensen Beach High School. As part of their orientation, this group of 40 volunteers played the game. [Andrea Levy, a JBHS Guidance Counselor, is the head of the Peer Mentor Program and the game facilitator.]
