Project Skills for Students

Kim Liegel is a pioneer in the emerging field of Project Based Learning for K-12. In 2004, she presented her groundbreaking presentation: “Project-Based Learning and the Future of Project Management” at the North America PMI Global Congress. As a result, Ms. Liegel helped bring together thought leaders from the PBL movement, educators using PBL, and the PMI Educational Foundation to create a network of mentors and educators prepared to support the growing demand for PBL. Her book ‘Make It Happen! Project Skills for Students’ is an invaluable resource. It provides concepts and strategies in an understandable and interactive format that can be applied to any project in any environment. As Bernie Trilling, the Senior Director of the Oracle Education Foundation, states:  “Kim is helping to lay the foundation for a renaissance in project learning in schools across the globe.”
